Profile GLAX MINI for LED strip, for shelves, 2 m

The current trend is to move away from light points in favor of linear lighting, based on LED strips. During operation, the belt generates heat that must be dissipated from it. Otherwise, the tape may wear out prematurely. Special aluminium GLAX profiles are used to dissipate heat from the belt. In order to effectively dissipate heat from the tape to the aluminum profile, the tape must adhere to it with its entire surface. Therefore, before pasting the LED strip into the GLAX profile, it is necessary to degrease its center. The shelf profile can be used both with glass shelves and made of wood or furniture board. The profile is mounted with double-sided tape to the surface of the shelf. The shelf itself should be moved away from the back of the cabinet by 17.2 mm. For glass shelves, up to 3 LED strips can be used. One shines upwards, the other downwards and the third through the glass, giving an amazing light splitting effect.

In order to effectively dissipate heat from the strip to the aluminium profile, the strip must adhere to it with its entire surface. Therefore, before gluing the LED strip into the GLAX profile, its centre should be degreased. LED strips find a wide range of applications both in homes and office spaces. They can be used to illuminate the kitchen, wardrobe, reception, showcases and even walls and ceilings. 2835 LED strip with its entire length, i.e. 5 m, consumes 33 W, while 1 meter consumes only 11 W. The strip can be cut every 5 cm, remembering to make the cut in a specially marked place. An important parameter of LED strips is the density of LEDs arrangement. The more densely they are arranged, the more even line of light will be obtained. In this case, 300 LEDs are arranged along the entire length of the strip, i.e. 60/m. Attention should also be paid to the width of the LED strip so that it can be easily glued it into the profile. This index is 8 mm wide.
